The After Work Box
Which team is really the smartest?
Bistro Box Challenge – a challenge for those who like trickery, laughter and team spirit! Gather at least four people and solve 8 missions in our wooden box, inspired by Best in Test. You compete in everything from creativity and cunning to cooperation and precision – all without a game master. Enjoy the atmosphere in the Bistro as you collect points, solve the puzzle and unlock the secret chest. Feel free to combine with dinner and drinks – this will be an evening you won’t soon forget!
Muurikka Moments

We are moving the kitchen and bar to
The bistro’s backyard by the sea
We start the muurikka, move the bar outside, light the fire and let the evening take place outside. At Bistro Tjurpannanwe enjoy the aromas from the pan, something good in the glasses and that nice feeling of sea, fire and community.
A day to hang out outside, chat for a long time and take in Bohuslän just as it should be – vibrant, relaxed and insanely good.
25/4 Raw shrimp is served with seaweed, salmon and a lot of other good sides.

Ascension Day 14/5
Between 12:00–16:00 we move out and create that nice summer feeling we love. Enjoy burgers from the grill, cooling cocktails and a relaxed moment by the sea.
During the afternoon (13:00 – 16:00) Erland & Maria will play live music – perfect as a backdrop to a long lunch, something in the glass and time together.
Welcome to sit back, take in the view and just be.

Celebrate mom with a nice and relaxing brunch with us at Bistro Tjurpannan. Bring the family and enjoy a delicious brunch buffet filled with good flavors, nice company and the beauty of nature as a backdrop.
Our Mother’s Day brunch is perfect for those who want to treat mom to something extra – a moment to land, socialize and enjoy together in a seaside environment.

We walk through Tjurpannan’s dramatic landscape, cook mussels together over an open fire and end the evening with a wine tasting at Bistro Tjurpannan. A day filled with nature, taste and community.

In the community of Grebbestad and the surrounding area and around Tanum municipality, a plethora of different activities and events are offered. Find something that suits you!
Eating
The best place to eat is, of course, our own Bistro Tjurpannan!
But we also recommend that you take a trip to Grebbestad and try one or more of all the fine restaurants that are available there. Here you will find a selection.
Archipelago tours
Johan offers archipelago tours suitable for all ages, from relaxing boat trips to seal safaris. Book your archipelago tour and experience Grebbestad.
We warmly recommend booking a tour with Johan to experience Bohuslän’s barren and beautiful landscape at sea.
Älgafallet
Älgafallet is located at the top of the northeastern part of the municipality and forms the border with Norway. The waterfall is Bohuslän’s highest with its 46-metre drop. There is a bridge below the falls with good accessibility. An information board tells about border history and ancient monuments. In the past, there was a saw and a mill here. Water-rich periods are autumn and spring when the fall is a particularly big visitor attraction.
Shop
If the rain should come to visit, it might be time to take a little shopping trip. Grebbestad offers many small cozy shops that are well worth a visit. About 12 km from Saltvik you will find Tanum Shopping Center with a mixed selection of shops and eateries. Just outside the centre of Grebbestad is the largest sports shop in the Nordic region, Sportshopen.
Discover caves
In the small, genuine fishing community of Havstenssund, the magically beautiful hiking trail through Målarklöva goes up to the top of the mountain where you can enjoy a fantastic view.
The monks’ church is located by the sea just north of Grönemad, and is a natural formation from the Ice Age. The cave is tunnel-like and about 11-12 meters deep. At the beach is a large boulder called the altar stone.
High above Fjällbacka rises Vetteberget, from whose highest point you have fantastic views of both the archipelago and the mainland. The mountain divides Stora and Lilla Vetteberget through the peculiar Kungsklyftan, with wedged boulders as a “roof”.

Experience the sea
Skärgårdsidyllen offers everything from guided kayak tours to yoga on both sea and land.
Vitlycke Museum
Vitlycke Museum is a knowledge and experience centre in Tanum’s World Heritage Site – an area with around 600 petroglyph sites. Here you can walk with a guide, or wander freely between the rocks and interpret the unique carvings. At the museum you will find a café and shop.
Catxalot - Seaweed, Sea & Love
Catxalot arranges workshops, lectures and courses on seaweed and beach plants for private individuals and business groups. See activities on catxalot.se. Most of the activities take place at Tjurpannan, Grebbestad, where you can experience one of the finest snorkeling waters available in Sweden.
