With us, there is always something to do, for young and old!
Check out all our activities here at Saltvik, what adventures do you want to do today?
Playgrounds
Within the campsite area there are three different playgrounds. For the very youngest children, we have a small playground adjacent to the holiday village. For the slightly older ones, we have a slightly larger playground down by the beach.
At the mini golf course you will also find our new playground in the activity area, which is filled with fun and suitable for all ages. Right next to the playground you will also find our immensely popular bouncy cushion that is open every day until 22.00.
Pedal boats
For those of you who want to get out into the bay and get some sea air, we can warmly recommend you to rent a pedal boat, in these you can be up to 5 people. Are you many people? Rent two pedal boats and see which ones can pedal the fastest out to the boathouses and back to the beach!
Kids club
Krabbelurernas Kompisklubb is our very own children’s club. Together with children of all ages, we fish for crabs, go on a treasure hunt and come up with various mischief and activities several times a week!
During our high season, we also have fun activities with Camping Fun where you can, among other things, jump in bouncy castles, go to a pyjama party, play in the Pirate Park or become a Summer Strong and much more!

Wood-fired sauna
Now you have the opportunity to rent our wood-fired sauna tent from Bastsauna , which is placed near the shore.
Take a cold bath in the sea and then crawl into the warmth and enjoy a fantastic view.
Gather the gang, family or surprise your partner and rent the tent for 2 hours, the tent can accommodate up to 4 people.
We recommend bringing your own bathing shoes.

You get access to a shower and a change of clothes in our service building.
The quest hunt
Family time outdoors!
You can now buy our Quest Hunt that takes you and your family around the cliffs along the beautiful nature reserve Tjurpannan.
You will receive a Saltviks Camping bag containing a map with tips on trails and 16 different tasks to solve along the walk.
Just as much fun for adults as it is for children!
The bag can be purchased at Bistro Tjurpannan or in the service store and best of all is that it can be used as many times as you like!
Can be purchased all year round.
Bike rental
Family tour on two wheels!
Now you can book our bike rental – an easy way to discover the surroundings together.
Cycle along the sea, through nature or take a trip to Grebbestad.
Helmets are available to borrow and we have bicycles for adults. Children’s bikes are on their way in shortly.
Perfect for an active day by the sea.

Shuffle
You haven’t missed that we have Shuffleboard at Bistro Tjurpannan, have you? Feel free to come by and play a game – and why not enjoy a good drink and a bite to eat afterwards?

Grill basket
Family time by the fire!
Now you can book our Grill Basket – a complete barbecue experience for the whole family.
In the basket you will find everything you need for a cozy moment by the fire with stick bread, sausages and s’mores.
Barbecue at our common barbecue areas or at your own wood grill if you live in Mareld, Utsikten or Höjden.
Suitable for 2 adults + 2 children.

All our passes are free for checked-in guests, other participants 100 SEK/pass or 495 SEK for our summer card where all passes are included (valid for weeks 27 – 31)

BEACH TRAINING
Start the day in the best way – sweat, laughter and endorphins!
We do high-intensity training mixed with mobility to nice music.
Elin, who holds the classes, is a trained PT and has a burning interest in OCR – Obsticle Course Race so don’t be surprised if cans, tires or the like appear. The class is suitable for everyone.
Recommended age from 11 years. Bring a water bottle and towel.

YOGA by the sea
Start your day with yoga
Come and join our inspiring yoga classes.
Anne offers yoga classes based on Iyengarg yoga, a physical form of yoga that suits everyone, stiff, flexible, older, younger, trained or untrained!
We use aids such as blankets, blocks and belts so that yoga is adapted to your specific conditions. You will receive individual guidance from Anne, who is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher.

Here you can hire 1-4 people per session and train undisturbed with access to both cardio machines from Concept (treadmill, rowing machine, SkiErg and BikeErg) as well as free weights, barbells, kettlebells and dumbbells. Perfect for those who want to keep going even during the holidays!

SUP
Have you tried the Stand Up Paddle Board?
If not – time to do it! SUP is like a surfboard, but without sails. Instead, you stand up and paddle your way forward at your own pace. Perfect for beginners and experienced alike!
Take a trip out into the bay, feel the tranquility on the water and experience Bohuslän from its absolute best side. A fantastic mix of training, balance and nature experience!
Mini golf
New! 9-hole mini golf course with Bohuslän theme.
Welcome to our new 9-hole mini golf course, inspired by Bohuslän and Saltvik! Here, the whole family can challenge each other in a fun and playful environment.
But that’s not all! At the mini golf course you will also find football billiards, Pin Point and a Teqball table – perfect for an active day filled with laughter and competitions!
Motorboat
Do you want to go fishing in the archipelago?
Or go out to one of the many beautiful islands in the archipelago for a day of sun and swimming?
Then our brand new motorboat, Vaker af Saltvik is something for you!

Hiking
Bohuslän offers many fantastic hiking opportunities in different environments. And one of our favorites happens to be just around the corner. The cliffs of the Tjurpanna nature reserve and the magnificent views are hard to beat.
From the beach at Saltvik you can walk straight out into the reserve and follow one of the several marked trails, feel free to pick up a map at our reception!
Do you want to make it easy for you? Then we recommend one of our hiking packages.
The Krabbelurklubben
Camping fun will offer exciting activities such as the Pirate Park, Dragons & Dinosaurs, The Mad Professor & his Experiment Workshop, Summer Stark, After Beach, Pyjama Party, Music Bingo and much more. And of course there will be favorites like Bouncy Castle Land and Glitter Tattoos!
ACTIVITIES IN THE LOCAL AREA
In the community of Grebbestad and the surrounding area and around Tanum municipality, a plethora of different activities and events are offered. Find something that suits you!
Eating
The best place to eat is, of course, our own Bistro Tjurpannan!
But we also recommend that you take a trip to Grebbestad and try one or more of all the fine restaurants that are available there. Here you will find a selection.
Archipelago tours
Johan offers archipelago tours suitable for all ages, from relaxing boat trips to seal safaris. Book your archipelago tour and experience Grebbestad.
We warmly recommend booking a tour with Johan to experience Bohuslän’s barren and beautiful landscape at sea.
Älgafallet
Älgafallet is located at the top of the northeastern part of the municipality and forms the border with Norway. The waterfall is Bohuslän’s highest with its 46-metre drop. There is a bridge below the falls with good accessibility. An information board tells about border history and ancient monuments. In the past, there was a saw and a mill here. Water-rich periods are autumn and spring when the fall is a particularly big visitor attraction.
Shop
If the rain should come to visit, it might be time to take a little shopping trip. Grebbestad offers many small cozy shops that are well worth a visit. About 12 km from Saltvik you will find Tanum Shopping Center with a mixed selection of shops and eateries. Just outside the centre of Grebbestad is the largest sports shop in the Nordic region, Sportshopen.
Discover caves
In the small, genuine fishing community of Havstenssund, the magically beautiful hiking trail through Målarklöva goes up to the top of the mountain where you can enjoy a fantastic view.
The monks’ church is located by the sea just north of Grönemad, and is a natural formation from the Ice Age. The cave is tunnel-like and about 11-12 meters deep. At the beach is a large boulder called the altar stone.
High above Fjällbacka rises Vetteberget, from whose highest point you have fantastic views of both the archipelago and the mainland. The mountain divides Stora and Lilla Vetteberget through the peculiar Kungsklyftan, with wedged boulders as a “roof”.
Grebbestad Live
Live music.
In the summer of 2023, Grebys started the concept “Grebbestad Live” with larger concerts in Charlottenlund
3 Tuesdays in July there will be awesome live concerts in Charlottenlunds Folkpark in Grebbestad (also called Lunden). There are standing areas in the park on a sloping lawn, but feel free to bring your own seat pad if you want! Blanket, brass chair or other! Food service and bar with full rights. A warm welcome!
Experience the sea
Skärgårdsidyllen offers everything from guided kayak tours to yoga on both sea and land.
Vitlycke Museum
Vitlycke Museum is a knowledge and experience centre in Tanum’s World Heritage Site – an area with around 600 petroglyph sites. Here you can walk with a guide, or wander freely between the rocks and interpret the unique carvings. At the museum you will find a café and shop.
Catxalot - Seaweed, Sea & Love
Catxalot arranges workshops, lectures and courses on seaweed and beach plants for private individuals and business groups. See activities on catxalot.se. Most of the activities take place at Tjurpannan, Grebbestad, where you can experience one of the finest snorkeling waters available in Sweden.
